Perfect Eyebrows
■ Get Perfect Eyebrows in 3 Easy Steps!
Looking to slay your brow game? Perfect eyebrows are as easy as 1, 2, 3! Eyebrow shaping can be super overwhelming, especially to do all by yourself. But don’t worry, my friend, it’s so much easier than you think! I created this super handy chart to help you get the perfect eyebrows everytime, in just 3 easy steps! I think that it really simplifies the process for those of us that can’t go to an esthetician every few weeks for waxing. Whether you’re tweezing or waxing at home, these three guidelines are all you need to know for the perfect eyebrow shape, every time!
■ Perfect Eyebrows How-To
Directions:To find out where your eyebrow should start, place a pencil vertically against the outside of your nose so that one ends points towards the floor and the other end is pointing straight up toward the ceiling. Your eyebrow should start right where the pencil starts to graze your eyebrow, right above the inner corner of your eye. It should line up vertically with the inside corner of the eye, as you will see in the illustration above. To find your second reference point, just rotate the top of the pencil slightly, keeping the lower end against your nose, but sliding the top of the pencil out towards the outer corner of your eye until you get to the outside of your iris. (Be sure you’re looking straight ahead at this point to determine the exact placement of your arch.) The highest point of the arch should line up vertically with the outside of the iris (with the other end touching the outside of the nose) as shown with the second line.To find out where the brow should stop, slowly keep sliding the top of the pencil towards the outside corner of your eye while keeping the base of the pencil against the side of your nose as shown in the third line. You want to make sure that it lines up with the outside corner of your eye. This will show you where your brow line should end.
■ Words of Wisdom
The biggest piece of advice that I can offer you if you reach a point of fear during this process is “when in doubt, leave it alone!” If you’re standing in front of the mirror wondering if you should tweeze that final hair, err on the side of caution. Eyebrows can be finicky, and if you tweeze too many, sometimes the hairs will never grow back. It’s a mistake that is hard to undo. As long as you take your time, and follow the three guidelines above, you’ll be slaying your brow game in no time! See? Voila. Simple! Perfect eyebrows, here you come!
